Mind Blown

I had a newsletter pretty much ready to go for sending out today but then the PTO US Open happened. I believe that was a life defining moment for the sport but also for athlete preparation / coaching. 

I admit I see things differently to an athlete but watching and listening to the men’s race unfold on Saturday it showed me clearly that the little box we all place ourselves in as to where we will come, how we will perform, is all a construct. 

Nobody would pick Ditlev to blow up. Nobody would pick Kristian to cramp. Nobody would pick a 41 year old to towel up the opposition. 

We think the numbers are all there is, but nothing is further from the truth.
