Results :

Friday Night Crits and we had 2 athletes racing. Jarrod Crump in C lighting up some good power numbers at 1.11 IF !! and Nathan Dixon on the podium again in B grade coming 2nd !

Club Champs was early this year. HPT had 4 athletes racing for their respective clubs. Congrats to the girls for both getting on the podium. Kerry Morris (Warringah) came 3rd in AG in the STD Aquabike in 1:59. Nicky Western (Scone) came 1st in AG in the Sprint.

Both of the boys raced STD Aquabike with Derek Calder (BBAC) finishing in 1:49:31 and James Knight posting a 1:48:59.

Sunday in Forster also had a run. and swim race. Congrats to Derek Calder for his 2km swim in 41:50 (3rd AG) and Erica Galea for her 22:21 in the 1km swim (1st in AG)

Sunday also saw the delayed Cole Classic race in Manly and Maree Doble made a strong return to racing with a time of 18:14 in the 1km event.

Cairns :

The Cairns Ironman and 70.3 has just hit the “16 weeks to go” mark and we have a nice crew heading up. If this is your first go at the distance I have made a YouTube on preparing for and racing the Ironman. The Link is Here .

Setting HPT as your Ironman Club :

It’s now 10 weeks until what is shaping up to be our biggest race of the season. Just reminding everyone if you could go into the Ironman website, click My Profile and Club Membership and then select “HPT”. We are in Divison V. Be careful not to select the US based team with a similar name.

We are very keen to back up a big 2025 and your support will go a long way to doing that.
