The Value of Fear

Face your doubts. Make them a part of the conversation. Talk about what you don’t want to talk about. It lessens the impact it has on you.

Then come up with solutions. We all have challenges and problems. Not everyone will come up with a solution.

Be a solutions person. Face your fears and play to your strengths.

I had an example of this only this week where an athlete faced their fears over a certain aspect of their racing.

We talked about it openly and on the day, when it counts, they faced the challenge and made it not only not a problem anymore, but a key strategic play they can take to their next race. In fact they are now excited to get that opportunity again.
