How To Be a Weapon

Sorry, no hacks here. No secret training sessions from pro’s. No 200g/hr nutrition plans. No tricks on how to do a 30hour training week while working and not die from burnout.

Nope - none of that. All we got here is the proven methods.

Do the work. Eat well. Train with intent. Be patient. Love the sport.

We are witnessing this at the Olympics right now. So many athletes, so many medals. so many breakthrough performances.

Not a secret amongst them. In fact every single athlete has a story. They all have had challnges that they dragged themselves through. Old athletes, young athletes.

Their common thread was perserverance, patience and hard work.

Willo and the JD’s

Jeff Davis and Jarrod Denny headed off to Nowra on the weekend for some MTB action at the Willo 80k and to sharpen Jeff up for Cross Triathlon Worlds. Both guys had the aim of doing a long ride, having a lot of fun and most importantly not falling off. Well done to both guys doing all 3 and doing it in 5 hours 41min.

The Willo Mountain Bike Marathon will take you once again to the NSW South Coast in Nowra. This race offers multiple distances from 40km to 80km classifications on a giant circuit that combines all three mountain bike trail networks in Nowra:  Coondoo, Superbowl, and Butterfly trails in the Nowra and Currambene State Forests
