R-a-i-n
Pretty wet one here in Sydney this week. Great to see how well we adapted to the conditions using the trainer and the treadmill and for some, just gritting the teeth, putting a jacket on and smiling their way through the rain. All good options.
Results :
A quiet one mainly but nice to see the winter runs continuing with Sunny Coast Half Marathon and Tamworth Running Festival both on our results list this week. Congrats to Rob Hurley who went 1:46 at the Sunny Coast race.. Great confidence boost for Sunshine Coast 70.3 next month. Also to Nicky Western who raced the 10k at Tamworth and went 43:32 and came 4th female overall.
Sutho Sessions This Week :
Monday and Wednesday - Swim Squad 6pm
Thursday - Track 6pm
Coming Up :
Plenty of races to keep an endurance athlete happy coming up. City to Surf this weekend. Then its Sydney marathon and Coastal Classic for the runners. Triathlon isn’t far away. Airlie Beach in a couple of weeks then Sunshine Coast and Western Sydney 70.3’s, plus we have now entered the 12 week build window for Worlds.
Don’t forget to work on your race prep plan and race model. I’m keen to see what you come up with.
Remember the Race Preparation Plan is all about the 4 pillars of mental, physical, tactical and technical. The Race Plan is all about pacing and nutrition for the race itself.
