Zane

In breaking news, Zane Galea has just added to our list of athletes racing, competing overnight in France.

Unfortunately Zane was involved in a crash on the bike that left him with a broken wheel and being unable to complete the race. This course was very technical and the French riders lets just say are pretty agressive.

This is Zane’s first foray into French Grand Prix racing. He is racing for Div 2 team Grenoble Garcons. They raced in Albi this weekend and will back it up in 4 weeks at a race in Vichy.

After suffering stress fractures in his spine last year and taking the long road back this is a great opportunity to develop his skills racing and travelling overseas. No mean feat for a 20 year old!

I’ll get the full rundown on the race when he gets up but in his overnight message he is okay with it as he had a good swim and was in the mix on the bike.

Onto the next race ! Well done Zane - we are all super proud of you.
