2024 HPT Alpine Training Camp:

When: Sunday, January 21 to Thursday, January 25, 2024

Accommodation : Southern Cross Ski Lodge, Smiggins Holes.

Food : Self provided. Breakfast and lunch look after yourself. Team dinners are cooked in teams of 4

Using my experience with many camps over the years this camp is designed to allow everyone to challenge themselves and also not get dropped or be unsafe. 

Remember that just like HPT, this camp is all about the individual in a team enviroment. You can work with me to make the camp as hard or as easy as you like. 

Cost : $600.

This includes accom and all coaching. You provide your own food. We eat “on the go” for breakie and lunch and eat as a team at night. The lodge has a full commercial kitchen for cooking and plenty of fridges to store your food.

Draft Camp Schedule : 

Day 1 :
Travel and check in
10km bike TT up to Charlotte Pass / easy roll back 10km

Day 2 : 
80-100km ride
Easy trails run ~5-8km 

Day 3 : 
Easy 30-40km ride
Run to the Summit (19km)

Day 4 :
30km easy ride to Jindy / 2km Open water swim / 30km ride home
Intervals Run at Perisher

Day 5 : 
Easy 6km run (early)
Drive home

High Performance Tri offers bespoke training camps and clinics for small groups only (groups of 8-12).

Our preferred method of delivery is to cater to a group of athletes of similar abilities and experience with similar goals so as to be able to deliver specific training and education to the athlete’s needs, thus avoiding sessions with large groups catering to the middle of the pack.
