Sutho to Surf
It’s our local event so no surpise to have such a strong lineup from HPT coached athletes racing. We literally had a brilliant showing in numbers and times.

Also a big shoutout to HPT’s greater community of athletes, friends and family members racing also. It’s a true community event and I am all about it.
Harry Wiles
Harry continued his tour of Europe yesterday with another top 10 result in the half distance Trumer Triathlon. Harry came 8th…. our goal is always single digit placings, and is building a strong base of physical development and learning. This race strung out a fair bit so you had to work on your own to pace yourself without other athletes to sight from. This is another challenge that helps with race craft and managing how you can stay in the race.
Ben Duff
Benny was over in France last week (still is), climbing the Cols of France. Quite literally he smashed it ! and all on a diet of 98% indoor riding. Ben is a busy family man that like everyone has a busy career also but he found the time and dedicated himself to the prep, leaving his riding mates filthy that he could do such a thing! Congrats mate - we are all proud of you.
Ryan Beattie
Ryan is a teacher and was on school holidays over the last 2 weeks. He set himself two challenges last week. A 500k bike week and 20 hours of training. He nailed both with 538km on the bike and 20:15 in duration including his runs and swims.
