What a weekend !

Tassie 70.3

Harry Wiles had a cracker. Although he wasn’t happy with his swim he didnt waste time once he got on two wheels. By the first split he pulled a couple in and then it only got better eventually making his way into 4th as he hit the run. Personal record 70.3 power and speed in wet slippery conditions followed by a 1:19 run was enough for him to get a 4th, in the prizemoney and on the stage next to Cam.

Jeff Davis had a big off early in the bike unfortunately and has two broken hands. He will live to fight another day but I will just leave you with the fact that he was there at the presentation to support Greg and Harry wrapped up like a Mummy.

Greg Attwells had a great race. He went 4:53 which left him only 2 places out of the Taupo slots. Soooo close !! Greg continues to train hard and is ready to collect the returns on the efforts he gives.

Shark Island

I was stoked to see the entries flow in at the last minute and we ended up with 6 on the line. Well done to Dylan Synnott in the 1k - 19:17, Ryan Beattie 41:40, Chris Visvis 46:35, Erica Galea 51:03, Amanda Behrendt 47:12, Michael Ciantar 46:48

Batemans Bay

Matty Jean a welcome return to racing and came 3rd overall in the Classic in 2:54. It hurt and it hurt a lot he tells me, but he also tells me he is pumped to rip in. Justin Hess has not one but two flats and then stomach issues. Then somehow finished in 4:00 !! Legend effort.

Island Tri

Thomas Leuchten was our HPT rep for the day and blitzed it in 2:00:07. 2nd in age and 14th overall. Awesome high intensity hitout / prep for Taupo later in the year.

The Rock Sprint Tri (2/20/300/4)

Vanessa Herbert hit up a local Wagga Wagga tri and nailed it in first place on her new bike. 1:14 her final time and hungry for the rest of the 4 race series.
