Race Results
Kurnell :
Saturday morning saw the return of Triathlon racing at Kurnell thanks to some nice work by Cronulla Tri Club. They were able to get a short course race going entirely within the park followed by the Billigence pathways race.
Congrats to Jarrod Crump and Scott McGrath who raced the open race to prep for upcoming races in Noosa and Melbourne. Also to Zane Galea who was 3rd U23 in the Billigence race which was conducted over 2 heats which qualified him for the A Final.
Sea Otter :
Paul Humphreys and Hannah Goerges both headed south for this 70km Gravel race. Unfortunately the heat we experienced in Sydney was much worse down south and it created some issues with lack of water on course. Hannah got hit with heat stroke late in the race whilst Humps continued to the finish after making sure Hannah received medical support.
Other events :
Nicky Western did a small local social tri and Angus Waddell did a “Halfrox” and confirms he is happy to stick with 70.3 racing. :) Keiley Mead raced in an Aquathon over in Barcelona.

HPT World Cup - 22nd November
Conducted at the Nepean Triathlon on the Super Sprint Course, this our handicap team race that carries a lot of bragging rights. Will be followed up with drinks and a presentation at Sunday Road in the afternoon. Enter Here .

Alpine Camp - 22nd - 26th January, 2027
This is a great way to get the year started with some great training in the Snowy Mountains. We stay in ski lodge accommodation and do shared cooking. Please email me with an experssion of interest so i can confirm accommodation and publish costs.
Beer Mile - 17th December (Track Thursday) 6pm
Location is Waratah Athletics track. The Beer Mile will be followed by a few beverages and some pizza
