A strong week of training across the board last week with good targets hit. We keep progressing now into the last two months of winter. Time to keep the pressure on. Winter miles = Summer smiles. We earn our medals now and pick them up at the races.

First Shoutout of the Week goes to Kate and Scott Allison. Kate has faced some big health challenges recently and words arent enough to describe the resilience and positivity shown by both of them. Kate we are all behind you, and Scottie you too as you both continue to inspire us all daily. I’m also touched by all the little bits of support coming from our team as they get through it all day by day.

Zane Galea raced his second French Grand Prix on Saturday with good progress after his bike crash at Albi. Zane has come a long way this year after suffering a stress fracture in his back last year and taking the rehab on with positivity and work ethic. Since starting with us at HPT we have worked with him to blend training face to face with us and still getting amongst his Velocity training mates. Balance, sustainable loading, and education are the priorities this year as he has only just started his U23 campaign being 20 years old.

Matt Underwood raced at the Kiama Coastal Classic last week and again showed his run progress nicely with a 3rd place in his age. Thats an outstanding result for Matty as he develops towards a lot of goals in amongst balancing work and life including a search for a house.
