S2S Incoming

A quiet weekend of racing for the team with just the one local race. Amanda Behrendt raced in the Paddle NSW Marathon Series in the 10k and was first female in 1:00:29. Well done Amanda ! Sub 1 hour beckons!

Sorry Not Sorry :

I have to really lean into nutrition. It’s obvious it’s been a huge part of the recent performance development across the globe, both from a daily training perspective and it’s health and recovery benefits, and race fuelling. If I am asking what you are doing in this area it’s all about health and performance.

TSS :

As good as it is, Training Peaks can be a killer at times. Sometimes it seems to have a mind of it’s own when calculating TSS for a session. The two biggest culprits for this are run and swim. If TSS isnt roughly 1 tss per minute then selcting HR TSS is our best and most accurate way of calculating. hrTSS isnt a default choice for swim. but so you may have to do it manually.

Sutherland to Surf :

This weekend is the annual Sutherland to Surf run. Looks like we have a strong crew racing too. We will meet at the start line at the usual place in front of the leather goods shop and will be cheering you home just at the top of the hill at Wanda. Wear your HPT shirts and caps and fly the flag !

The Sutho Sessions :

Monday : Swim Squad 6pm
Tuesday : Brick Pit Run 6pm
Wednesday : Swim Squad 6pm
Thursday : Track Run 6pm

Race Schedule :

As you can see, major races aren’t that far away. Keep making sure you are thinking ahead and getting oragnised with pacing, nutrition and logistics of travel.
