Coastal Classic

Well that was a tough one to take. Coastal Classic was postponed on Friday afternoon due to the Total Fire Ban forcing the Nasho Park trails to be closed. Unfortunately it has been postponed to the weekend of UTMB Kosci which puts most of the crew out for the new date. Shoutout to the crew that got out and did a big run anyway!

Club Races

Congrats to Nicky Western for her 1st place (4th overall) at the Newcastle Cycle Club race on Saturday.

Sutherland Pool Re-Opening 14th September

Thanks to everyone for their patience while Sutho Pool was undergoing reno’s. The Caringbah shift was well supported but I am looking forward to being at home again next week and back to our usual 6pm time slot.

Testing

The latest round of testing is complete and Crumpy will start pulling reports together for distribution. Well done everyone - we had some strong results. I haven’t tested bike and run for the Port and Kona crew this time while they are in their major load period but we will test once those races are over and you have freshened up.

A reminder that you dont need to have a scheduled test to do one. They are pretty easily handled in a regular training block and if you feel like you need to retest then we will go with the flow and do so.

The HPT x Wyn Republic Team Kit Store is now open for ordering and will close this coming Sunday night. New to the collection is a run shirt in the popular cycle kit design.
