An in-depth look at Kona 24. The prep, the race, and my conclusions from it all.

That was one helluva weekend ! Not one, but two iconic races !

It’s been a while since we have seen a new triathlon on the circuit ! Kiama was promised last year but fell over at the last minute with approvals issues but this year they had it sorted and I am glad they did. What a great race !

Well it's not Backyard Cricket - but it has a great vibe to it nonetheless ! The Backyard Ultra is an event that has something for everyone.

It’s nice to have a 70.3 in your home town where you can ditch the travel logistics and have a relatively simple race week in your own bed and no packing so to speak.

The Sydney Marathon is gathering momentum again. This year we got some cooler weather but the wind was a bit cruel. Change of seasons doing its thing.

Some excellent racing this weekend. Congrats to Kelly Linton, Dylan Synnott and Paul Linton on their races in Sunshine Coast 70.3. Also to Jarrod Denny on his race at the local 5k club Kayak race.

No races week last week, but this week is a different matter ....
